Neurocognitive Development
The purpose of this study is to gain new knowledge about the normal development of cognitive functions and how this is related to brain development.
Objective
The main objective of this study is to gain new knowledge about the development of central cognitive functions from childhood to young adulthood, and how this development is related to brain development. We use measures of cognitive function, measurements of the thickness and volume of brain structures, measures of the microstructure of white matter in the brain (DTI), and brain activity during cognitive tasks and at rest.
